Scott SkinnerWritten by the celebrated fiddler James Scott Skinner (1843-1827) and is also known as “The Bonnie, Bonnie Banks o’ Spey”, probably after a song which was written to the tune by R Grant:
“I sing o’ the Spey, the bonnie, bonnie Spey,
Whar the primrose grows so early,
An’ ilka mile o; the bonnie Hielan’ stream
     Can shew you some rarefairlie.”
