Nigel Gatherer's Mandolin School

This is an online adult evening class in Beginners Mandolin. Participants are usually starting from the beginning, with little or no experience. During the course we'll starting from the very start, learning the techniques necessary to playing the mandolin, and introducing a repertoire of tunes, and learning about mandolin music from around the world.

Now that all my mandolin classes will be held online, the logistics of a beginners class is all the more difficult, mostly because of the issue of tuning the instrument. I am working on solutions to this, and I hope to be offering a beginners class in the near future.
