One of the things which have kept me away from the forum (apart from my work schedule) is a project called Great Scottish Composers. I've been working on this to compile a representative selection of tunes from some of Scotland's master tune-writers.
As with almost all the music I transcribe, it was started for a class, but I have started expanding it and making the tunes available to download from the Great Scottish Composers page. Each page has an example of the musician's work and a brief biography.
I have arranged the first 10 into a book which can be downloaded. The next book has been started, and any suggestion for people who would fit into this project would be grateful - let me know.
