  Memories of Father Angus MacDonnell

This delightfully simple march was composed by Cape Breton fiddler Mike MacDougall. Cape Breton is an island in Nova Scotia on the Atlantic Eastern coast of Canada where 200 years ago thousands of Gaelic speaking Scots settled after being driven from their homes in the Highlands of Scotland. They preserved Highland traditions and music and dance, and Cape Breton music has become very popular in Scotland of late.
