From the CD May You Never Lack a Scone by Jock Tamson's Bairns (more details). Fiddler Derek Hoy says

"I got it from Alasdair Fraser - not that one, the piper of Achiltibuie. He got it from Allie Beag who's a box player there. He says it's a Bobby McLeod tune meaning, I think, that McLeod played it. I think it's traditional."
However, I have a Bobby MacLeod LP on which there's a set, The Mist of Glencoe, which includes The King's House and attributes Bobby Macleod as the composer. [Midi file]
