Old Time Wedding Reel 3: Put Me In the Big Chest

The classic Cape Breton Old Time Wedding Reels set comprises John O' Badenyon, tune, Hamish the Carpenter and Put Me In the Big Chest. This tune probably has its origin in a Scottish reel in B flat called Cuir sa Chiste Mhóir Mi or Miss Cruickshank's Reel, composed by celebrated fiddler William Marshall [biography], although the Cape Breton variant is very far removed. I have heard it played as a four part reel in sessions - see here for the four-part tune.
