This tune was recorded in about 1930 by Apsie and Abbie Morrison, twin brothers and fiddlers in The Morrison Brothers String Band. They were from the Ozark region, specifically Searce County Arkansas. Other recordings include those from Eck Robertson (also from Arkansas) and Rufe Scott (from Missouri).
