This was a popular song in the United States, written by Billy Hill (1899-1940), whose most famous song was The Glory of Love. It has also been used as a Bluegrass instrumental by the likes of fiddler Chubby Wise and Norman Blake, and old-time musicians such as Riley Puckett.
