Composed by Alistair Anderson, a concertina player and Northumbrian piper from the North East of England.In 1982 he composed a suite of tunes under the name Steel Skies, and a book of these compositions was published the same year. Anderson has been a professional musician for nearly sixty years and has represented the music of his native Northumberland on the world stage.
