A'thegither Mixed Instrument Weekends
A WEEKEND OF music for any instrument and all levels. The course is led by Nigel Gatherer and he and the other tutors will lead workshops on many aspects of playing music with others, including accompaniment, dynamics and harmony. All instruments and levels are welcome, within reason!
The main activity of the weekend will be groupwork sessions in which the participants will learn and collaboratively arrange pieces of music or song in an attractive, exciting way. The weekend will culminate with the groups performing the pieces they've worked on. In addition, there will be workshops on some aspect of playing in an ensemble; participants will attend two of these during the weekend. Music sessions in the bar on the Friday and Saturday evenings will include everybody in a friendly, supportive atmosphere.

Booking
The course costs £235.00 per person (£275.00 for a single room - single rooms are limited, so book early to avoid disappointment) including all accommodation, meals and hand-out materials. Spaces limited to twenty eight participants; a deposit of £30.00 ensures your place. Written music and soundfiles will be available beforehand.
