Mixter Maxter 8 (April 2016)

Mixter Maxter 8 saw an experiment where I spread the workshop over two locations and over two days. The first leg was on the 2nd of April 2016 in Haddington, East Lothian, and the second leg was the next day in Muirhead, just outside Glasgow. The same material was explored at both sessions, and the results can be heard below. What's fascinating is how each group took different approaches to the music and came up with quite separate ideas.

I jokingly labelled the workshops "East vs. West" but needless to say there was no animosity and no real sense of competition; everyone simply enjoyed playing music in a friendly and supportive atmosphere.
