Carterbar were an Edinburgh-based folk group active between 1972 and 1974. Members included:

• Graham Blamire double bass, vocals
• Tom Blyth vocals, guitar, banjo
• Jimmy Alexander vocals, guitar, concertina
• Gerard Dott 5-string banjo, clarinet
• Jimmy Powells vocals, guitar, mandolin

Carterbar were well received in the folk scene at the the time, and appeared on Scottish Television singing Johnny Cope and The Pinewood Hills.
