1990-96.
After Benzie, Hardie and McMillan met in 1990, the first Old Blind Dogs were formed. They toured and recorded four critically acclaimed albums:
New Tricks (1992),
Close to the Bone (1993),
Tall Tails (1994), and
Legacy (1995).

Cattanach was replaced by ex-Wolfstone percussionist Graham
"Mop" Youngson. Although this line-up toured extensively,
no albums were released.

1999-2002.
Benzie retired from the band in 1999, and Fifield and Youngson
also left to go their own ways. Singer Jim Malcolm and piper Rory
Campbell (from Deaf Shepheard) came in, and with Paul Jennings on
percussion, they recorded
two albums:
The World's Room (1999) and
Fit? (2001).
