Halsway Manor is a folk arts centre in Somerset, run by the English Folk Song and Dance Society. I was due to work at Halsway in 2020, but Covid scuppered that. I has always wanted to see the place, so I was delighted to be one of the tutors for the BMG Summer School in June 2025.
The music and song I used formed the third exploration of music from the British Isles, and I think we had a very succesful weekend.
