  Billy In the Low Ground

This is a widespread tune across America, played in both Old Time and Bluegrass traditions. Other names for it have been Fiddler's Drunk and the Fun's All Over and Jinny In the Lowland. In its early US history the tune is particularly associated with southern Virginia. The tune originates with a Scottish Strathspey called The Braes of Auchtertyre, and is also played in Ireland as The Belles of Tipperary.
