This tune has been collected in Scotland by Scots fiddler Ian Powrie, and known here as The Reel of Tullochgorum. However, these days it's better known under the title Jimmy Allan, or Jamie Allan, after a celebrated Northumbrian piper. Where it originates is anybody's guess.
