Alasdair of the Dun is known by many as Island Spinning Song, with the chorus "Hull-a-mack-a-do, hoo-ro-va-hee" etc. It was published in 'Songs of the Isles' (1950). The Cockle Gatherer is also called 'S trusaidh mi na Coilleagan, and was published in 'Songs of the Hebrides' (1921).
