A set of Shetland reels with nautical themes. Faroe Rum is said to have been about smuggling tobacco and spirits in the old days. "Aandowin" is the act of keeping a boat in one place using oars, while "da forefit" would be the fo'castle of a sailing ship.
This set and other tunes played at Scottish Sessions can be found in The Scottish Slow Session Volume 2, available from my Online Store.
