The Gentle Maiden

This set is part of the following collections:

Four old Irish songs. The Gentle Maiden was probably originally in Gaelic, but it was made popular with English words in 1940 on a recording by John McCormack. The other tunes in the set are Believe If All These Endearing Young Charms, The Black Velvet Band and The Wild Colonial Boy.
