This tune was recorded by the Irish group Four Men and a Dog under the name Maguire's. The Boys of the Lough also recorded it with that name, having learnt it from John Joe Maguire, a flute player from Co. Fermanagh. In fact it was composed by Vincent Broderick of Co. Galway, with the title The Haunted House.
