Loch Rannoch was composed by Pipe Major John Wilson (1906-1979) of Edinburgh. It is perhaps one of his most celebrated compositions alongside Leaving Lochboisdale.
Rannoch Lodge came from the 1870s collection Kerr's Merry Melodies.
