An old tune, The Laird o' MacIntosh was published in Gow's Repository in the early 1800s. It has sometimes been attributed to James Scott Skinner but, while it sounds like one of his compositions, it is quite impossible! Kincaldrum's can be found in the same Gow publication and slightly earlier in Robert Petrie's Collection of 1800.
