There are a number of tunes named for the Fergusons of Raith, including at least three for "Mrs Ferguson". It's not known exactly which Mrs Ferguson it was, but it could be Mrs Emma Ferguson, who was married to Col Robert Ferguson of Raith. The estate of Raith was in Fife, near Kirkcaldy.
