Born in Margate in 1951, Matt Seattle - the composer of this tune - first moved to Northumberland, and then to the Scottish Borders, where he has made his home. He is a guitarist, fiddler and piper, as well as being a composer. His best known piece is Lindisfarne, and he wrote Theme for the Early Days of a Better Nation before the Scottish Independence Referendum in 2014.
