Seneca Square Dance

This tune is part of the following collections:
Music

The first setting of Seneca Square Dance comes from Aly Bain, who learnt the tune - which he called Waiting for the Federals - from American fiddler Jay Ungar. The second setting comes from Ry Cooder, who recorded his version for the soundtrack of the film The Long Riders. I originally learned it from banjo player John Greig.

This set is part of my Old Time Collection Collection of tunes; for others, check out the Old Time Collection Index
