Sweet Georgia Brown was composed in 1925 by Ben Bernie and Maceo Pinkard, with lyrics by Kenneth Casey, and stayed at No.1 for five weeks for Bernie and his Hotel Roosevelt Orchestra. It became a jazz standard, and was later adopted as the theme tune for the Harlem Globetrotters.
