American harmonica virtuoso Larry Adler (1914-2001) composed and performed the music for the popular 1953 film Genevieve, which earned him an Oscar nomination. This tune - the main theme of the film - was also turned into a song with words by American lyricist Dorcas Cochran (1903-1991).
