I learned this tune from Christina MacAulay, a Scottish whistle player living in Wales. She learned it from fiddler Bob Evans, who often plays it at Cardiff sessions. He possibly got it from a 19th century collection by Owain Alaw, Gems of Welsh Melody. It is described as a miniwet - a minuet.
