Ballachulish Glen

Ballachulish Glen, decorated

A beautiful Gaelic song air which I got from the playing of John Carmichael. The name Ballachulish (from Scottish Gaelic, Baile a' Chaolais) means "the Village by the Narrows", which is at the mouth of Loch Leven.

This tune and other tunes played at Scottish Sessions can be found in The Glasgow Slow Session Volume 1, available from my Online Store.
