The small town of Black Mountain is in North Carolina. It is named after the old train stop, and it is located in the part of the Blue Mountain Range which is known as The Black Mountains. It was there that the composer of this tune, Mark Schatz, attended his friends' wedding, and he wrote this lovely tune for them.
