Cielito Lindo

This set is part of the following collections:
Music

Cielito Lindo roughly translates as "Lovely Sweet One" and dates from 1882. It's popular with mariachi bands (traditional Mexican music groups). As is the second tune, La Cucuracha, although its origins are in Spain. The song is about a cockroach who has lost one of its six legs.
