Composed by Dave Richardson, who played mandolin, cittern, banjo and concertina with The Boys of the Lough. Originally from Northumbria, he has lived in Edinburgh for decades. Two of his most popular tunes are Calliope House and MacArthur Road. Dave, now in his seventies, left the band he toured and recorded with for 40 years in 2011.
