THIS SWEET AIR (pronounced Ev-lin) has the full title of Eibhlín Gheal Chúin Ni Chearbhaill, and can be found in Bunting's Collection (1796). Like many Irish tunes, it was the Irish group The Chieftains who made the tune popular from their 1971 album "Chieftains 3".
