The first Gathering was the culmination of a dream I had had for many years: to gather many of the musicians I'd taught and played with together for a day of musical fun in my home town of Crieff. I love what I do, and to spend a day with these folk playing music is just about the best thing. 63 people travelled from varying distances for the day, and I think it's fair to say that everyone left with a smile on his/her face.
