My first BMG1 Summer School took place at Burwell House in Cambridgeshire in 2008. I chose to do American Old Time music, a genre I have loved for years. Many of the tunes I learned from friends or recordings, and some of them we performed in my old time band Clutching At Straws. It was great to be able to share this music.
